  • I don't know my member number?

    Your member number is on your latest APA membership invoice. If you do not have an invoice on hand, then call the APA Answer Center at 703-907-7300.


  • I have my member number but I don't know/have a password?

    You need to set your password. You do this by clicking on the link that says "First time logging in? Click Here." You will be asked for verify your member number and birthday, if you successfully do so, then you will be prompted to set your password. Click here to verify your member number and birthday date.


  • When trying to verify my birthday I get the following: "The logon information you provided does not match APA records."?

    Be sure to check that you are doing the following:
    - Entering your member number like 123456, and not 00000123456.
    - Entering your birthdate in MM/DD/YYYY format. So that if you were born on March 1, 1940 you would enter - 03/01/1940.

  • I successfully verified my member number, and birthdate, and set my password but I still can't log in?

    Be sure to check that you are doing the following:
    - Entering your member number like 123456, and not 00000123456.
    - Typing your password correctly

  • When I try to log on I get the pop up message "Sorry! Your login was unsuccessful because I could not find user named XXXXXXX here"?

    Be sure to check that you are doing the following:
    - The member number you are entering is your own and is correct.
    - Entering your member number like 123456, and not 00000123456.

  • When I try to log on I get the pop up message "Sorry! Your login was unsuccessful because the password you typed is invalid. Try again"?

    Be sure to check that you are doing the following:
    - You have set your password. If not you will need to set your password by verifying your membership number and birthdate, and then setting your password. To set your password click on the "First time logging in? Click Here." link on the login page.
    - If you have set your password, make sure you are typing it correctly. If you still can't log in and continue to get this error, then you will need to reset your password. To reset your password click on the "Forget your password? Click here" link on the login page. DO NOT call the Answer Center for your password. They do not have access to this information.
